David Paradi, B.A. Sc., MBA
Dave
Paradi is the co-author of "Guide to PowerPoint", part of the Prentice Hall
Series in Advanced Business Communication. The National Post called Dave a
presentation training guru and Tony Ramos referred to Dave as a
PowerPoint rock star. Through his presentations, books, articles and
bi-weekly newsletter, Dave shares ideas that help presenters strategically use PowerPoint
visuals to enhance the effectiveness of their message.
Since
1999, Dave has been speaking professionally to audiences in Canada and the United States.
He has authored an MBA text book, numerous e-books, video tutorials, articles and special
reports. Every two weeks Dave sends out another issue of his PowerPoint Tips e-newsletter.
Dave
serves as the National Treasurer and a Director of the Canadian Association of
Professional Speakers (CAPS) and was awarded the CAPS President's Award for Distinguished
Service in 2003. He holds an MBA from The Amos Tuck Business School at Dartmouth College
in New Hampshire (1991) and a B.A.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from University of Toronto
(1987). In 1998, he earned accreditation from York University in Toronto, Ontario, Canada
in Facilitation and graduated from the Dale Carnegie Course.
