Kristin J. Arnold, MBA, CMC, CPF, CSP
Kristin,
is passionate about people being engaged in working together. As a high stakes
meeting facilitator, trainer and keynote speaker, Kristin has worked with thousands of
senior executives, project managers and team leaders, challenging their traditional
notions about teamwork. In an engaging and interactive way, she presents concrete,
practical concepts, tools and techniques her clients can immediately apply and see
substantive results.
Kristin
works with organizations ranging from Fortune 500s, academia, military, government and
nonprofits. A wide range of companies depend on Kristin for insight into what works
best for teams today: Marathon Oil Company, Caterpillar Inc., James Madison University,
College of William and Mary, US Armed Forces, National Aeronautics and Space
Administration, Internal Revenue Service, International Maritime Organization,
International Facilities Management Association...just to name a few.
Kristins
passion for teams is reflected in her writing, speaking, facilitation and consulting.
She is the author of several books in the Extraordinary Team Series (Team Basics,
Email Basics and Team Energizers) as well as a newspaper columnist and contributing author
to myriad other team-based books such as The IAF Handbook of Group Facilitation.
Kristin
has been featured in numerous publications such as Harvard Business Update, USA Today, T+D
(ASTDs Training & Development), Training, Professional Speaker, Team Management
Briefings, Selling Power, Contingent Workforce Strategies and Association Publishing.
Kristin
was one of the first female graduates of the United States Coast Guard Academy and the
first woman stationed onboard the USCGC Buttonwood, a sea-going buoy tender. As the
Military Personnel Officer of the Pacific Area and the Reserve Training Officer for the
Mid-Atlantic Region, Kristin parlayed her understanding of teams and teamwork with an MBA
in Marketing Strategy into a specialized management consulting firm focused on
extraordinary teamwork in the workplace.
Kristin
is on the Executive Development Faculty in the Schulich School of Business at York University
in Toronto and is a guest lecturer at the Smeal College of Business at Penn State.
