  • Leadership Effectiveness

    This session builds upon the experience of participants as managers and establishes a firm foundation from which participants can continue to advance their own development.     Through discussions, simulations and group work, participants answer key questions such as: “Why do people do what they do?”, “How do I adapt my style to match the situation?”, and “How do I increase the performance of individuals and groups?”   Recognizing that the behaviour of a manager sets the tone for the organization this workshop provides participants with the skills and knowledge required to “lead for peak performance”.  

    The most effective managers "lead" instead of "manage". This session is designed to help you analyze your current strengths and weaknesses as a leader, and identify the most appropriate leadership style to fit with your company's unique culture.

    Goals/objectives of this program:

    • To describe the difference between a Manager and a Leader
    • To assess the importance of adapting one’s leadership style
    • To determine how to improve communication effectiveness
    • To learn about the connection between “assumptions” and leader behaviour
