Examples of Leadership Programs developed for Corporate Clients

  • VIP Leadership

    This interactive program is designed to simplify the complexities of leading and managing in a dynamic Customer-driven environment by providing participants with a blend of key concepts/ideas and tools that assist them in accomplishing more in both their professional and personal life.  Through “buddy” and “small group discussions” participants explore key issues facing managers and leaders today, that is, effective communications, successful leadership, continuous improvement, and reward & recognition.  Through self-assessments, and other in-class activities, participants answer key questions such as: “Why do People do what they do?”, “How do I adapt my style to match the situation?”, and “How do I increase the performance of individuals and groups?”.   This session provides participants with the opportunity to establish a personal action plan that can result in lasting improvements for the individual and the organization they lead.  

    Goals/Outcomes from this program:
    1-         To recognize the difference between leadership and management
    2-         To determine actions leaders take in tough times, and in good times
    3-         To discuss the evolution of modern leadership concepts
    4-         To identify the various “thinking styles” at work i.e., Passive/Defensive;              Aggressive/Defensive; Constructive
    5-         To analyze one’s own “thinking style” through self assessment
    6-         To recognize the elements of effective communication
    7-         To determine that there are many channels for “motivating others”
    8-         To recognize when/how to adapt behaviour to become more effective in various             workplace situations
    9-         To review “sources of Power” in the workplace
    10-       To review 6 methods for increasing “on-the-job” performance
    11-       To improve one’s ability to provide constructive feedback
