Company's Philosophy on Leadership & Management Development
We differentiate between management (perspiration), and leadership (inspiration).
For Management development we typically utilize diagnostics,
360° degree feedback tools to measure abilities in the 5 core dimensions of management
(planning, organizing, staffing/resourcing, directing, controlling). To support these
dimensions various skills/competencies are often also assessed e.g., planning, goal
setting, performance management, team building, integrating differences, stress
processing, commitment, etc. Managers, typically, prefer active learning
methodologies such as: case studies, in-basket exercises, decision-making activities, etc.
For Leadership development we typically utilize experiential
learning methodologies (for example, leadership styles via classic films suchs as Twelve
O'clock High, 12 Angry Men, etc.)
For both, however we help people discover learning for
themselves. We believe that a solid understanding of an organization's current situation,
its vision, mission, values and goals is crucial. We believe that every program has to be
relevant to the participants and must address the challenges they face in their work
environment by providing practical tips, hints & techniques, and meet the needs
of the adult learner.
